About Us
Lalithas Music Centre is founded and headed by Pattukottai Ms. Saroja Srinivasan B.A.(Music). She has got her bachelor degree B.A. (Music) from Madras University in 1969. She is well experienced in Music for half century. She has 40 years of experience in teaching Music. She has worked in many schools. She has taken classes in Violin and Vocal for B.A., M.A., students and made them to get their degree.Gurus
Her mother was her first guru. Her grand father Mr. Nagu Iyer who sang with famous legend Poochi Srinivasa Iyengar (1860 - 1919).Her second guru Mr. Padmanabhan. He has worked in Vedaranyam Kanya Gurukulam for long time. Then she was trained and developed as good singer by Mr. Thiruvarur S. Bala Subramaniyam a great musician who has won many awards.
She has learnt to play violin from her guru Mayuram Sivaswami Iyer.
Pefromances
1974-75 She sung Bhajans for a week at Thiruvanthapuram Temple. 1973-74 She sung Bhajans at Uppiliappan Temple. She has performed 4-5 hours continous Carnatic vocal concert in many stages. Sung folk songs in All India Radio, Coimbatore.2011-12 She conducted "Radha Kalyanam" in grand manner and got everyone's appreciation.
